What is Love?

To see him would have brightened up any day
To hear his voice would make my heart melt away
To hear him say "I Love You" was so not cliche....
To have him hold me made the rest of the world not EXIST...
Now here I am pouring out my heart....
The heart that I thought couldn't take hurt ever again...
We both hurt each other I agree....
But all I keep thinking about is why do that to me.....
I am hurt but yet I still Love him
He's basically my best friend...
how can you shut all that away????
You can't....
At a point in time I thought I had it all figured out...
But here I am again today and I am asking "What is Love?"
Some say true love will never hurt
Some say true love does not exist
Some say true love has no explanations
Some say true love comes with a lot of pain...
"Sometimes when you love something you have to let it go!"
"If it comes back to you then that love was meant to be..."
So why do we have to go through all the bullshit?
I mean....how are we ever going to know if that person is "The One"
How are we supposed to know if we will ever find true love...?
Again I ask....What if there is no such thing as love and we are all deceived into this stupid idea
Of a bond that you share with just one person....
Or then again what if the one for me has found me?
But because of what I have been through I push him away....
What if THE ONE for me has been pushed away to someone else
WHAT IS LOVE?????
I've been asking for a while now....No body seems to know the exact answer.....
So now I leave you with this.....
"Does Love even exist???"
