Seems like lifes just full of bumps
We get confused and just feel slow
Sometimes we get stressed out
and sometimes we let others stress us out
i dont wonder why its like that
cos this aint la-la land ma dear its reality
life's long been know as a roller-coaster ride
if you didnt know, i tell you now
i have feelings...dat u gotta believe
i'm not as mean or as heartless
as you may think
but when you tryna flip the script,
be rest assured it'll flip on you
now we know no one would gain from that,
you think you got friends
and find out you got fiends
you find yourself in trouble
your hommies split on the double
Can somebody tell me why?
we cant just live our lives right
if you smiling, smile from your heart
if you dont like someone, dont pretend
it aint a game, it wont bring fame
but honesty does spare some kind of pain
I mean, i aint saying i'm perfect
but the fact is i try...
i'm myself
i'll let you know how it is
and i'll tell you how i feel about it
now if you cant define yourself
and that's why you act the way you do
that's something i cant help you with
But one thing i can tell you is
be yourself and only try to please you
dont pretend to be a friend
when you know you wont be there
dont tell nobody you truly care
when you know its so not there
Pretending will not only hurt
someone else but might hurt you as well
